Foundation Project
Kalmar Construction engaged Ultimate to design, fabricate, and install 94 high-end wardrobe systems for their Foundation project — a development described as “retirement living without compromise.”
Each wardrobe was crafted to match the calibre of these multi-million-dollar Parnell apartments and featured premium elements such as jewellery safes, integrated LED lighting, soft-close drawers, and the refined detailing expected in luxury retirement living.
Despite significant logistical complexity and tight timelines, the project proceeded smoothly. All cabinetry was fabricated in our Kerikeri facility, carefully transported to Auckland, and installed on-site in Parnell by our expert installation team.
Working with Kalmar Construction was a highly professional and collaborative experience. Of all the contractors involved, Kalmar advised that they considered Ultimate the standout performer — praise we greatly appreciate.

Te Puna Waiora
Retirement Living, Re-imagined
In the heart of Kerikeri, Te Puna Waiora is a retirement community shaped by its residents. It's energetic, social and full of ideas. The Te Ripo Wai Clubhouse offers everything from a bowling green and games room to a hobby space, workshop, library, and alfresco deck. Our partnership with Korowai Health and Wellbeing ensures personalised support when needed, and a future Care Centre will provide rest home, hospital, and dementia care.
Since 2021, Ultimate Cabinetry has been designing, fabricating and installing kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and other cabinetry for Te OPuna Wiora in Kerikeri. This is a wonderful customer whom and we have a great working relationship with for many years. We are the sole suppliers of all the cabinetry and stone surfaces for the village and have installed over 100 homes already. The next project was the Te Ripo Wai Clubhouse. This was a complex but beautifully design commercial bar and restaurant fitout with libraries, games rooms and other resident spaces. As you can see from the images, this was a great project, and the customer was ecstatic with the results.

Blair Boats
Boat Builders
Blair Boats is a Northland-based boat builder specialising in custom-designed aluminium and fibreglass vessels built for New Zealand conditions. Renowned for their craftsmanship, performance, and attention to detail, Blair Boats works closely with clients to create boats that are practical, robust, and tailored to how they fish, work, or explore on the water.
Ultimate Cabinetry recently collaborated with Laurie, owner of Blair Boats, on a unique and technically demanding project. Blair Boats was constructing a fibreglass waka over 100 feet long and required precision-cut mould frames to support and hold the fibreglass moulds during fabrication. Using our CAD design capability and HOMAG CNC machinery, Ultimate Cabinetry fabricated the specialised components required for this project, contributing to the successful execution of a truly impressive build.
Duraplan
Duraplan specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of durable restroom, changing room, and locker systems for commercial, educational, sports, and public facilities. Their solutions are purpose-built for high-use environments, combining robust materials, intelligent layouts, and clean, low-maintenance finishes that perform reliably day after day.
Ultimate Cabinetry has been fabricating locker components for Duraplan for over three years. They are a highly professional organisation and a valued client, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and reliable delivery.
